Uses Of Aggregates After Crushing Construction Waste
Crushing is one of the important auxiliary operations in the process of construction waste treatment. Its main purpose is to reduce large material particles to smaller and more uniform particles to improve the efficiency and quality of sorting. The crushing of construction waste mainly relies on various crushers to crush solid waste. There are mainly jaw crushers, impact crushers, etc.The crusher generates a strong external force on the construction waste material, forcing the waste material to break and break into smaller materials.
According to the characteristics of the force applied to the crushed material, the crushing methods are divided into: impact, shearing, extrusion, grinding, shredding, etc. Large pieces of material are generally crushed and extruded. Small pieces of material are mostly finely ground by grinding. The material is ground into fine particles by friction between two metal surfaces or grinding bodies of various shapes.
Generally, any kind of crushing is not carried out in only one way, but in a combination of two or more ways, such as extrusion and bending, impact and grinding, etc. Which one to use must be determined based on the physical properties of the material, the size of the material and the degree of crushing required, such as: hard materials are crushed by extrusion and impact, brittle materials are crushed by extrusion and grinding, and brittle and soft materials are crushed by splitting and impact.
Uses Of Different Aggregates
1. Sorted waste wood and wood blocks can be used as raw materials for wood-based recycled boards or papermaking.
2. Slag can be used for road construction, pile foundation fillings, and foundations.
3. Waste bricks and tiles and masonry aggregates can be used for recycled bricks, wall panels, floor tiles, etc., and recycled materials can also be added for highway pavement base.
4. Waste concrete aggregates can be used to produce concrete, mortar or blocks of corresponding strength grades.
5. Waste steel, steel bars and other metal materials can be directly reused or recycled.
6. Recycled fine aggregate is processed from concrete, mortar, stone, bricks and tiles in construction waste. It is mainly used to replace natural machine-made sand to produce recycled sand concrete, recycled mortar, recycled bricks, blocks and other building materials.
7. Recycled coarse aggregate is processed from concrete, mortar, stone, bricks and tiles in construction waste, and is used to prepare concrete with a particle size greater than 4.75mm. It is used to replace natural or machine-made sand to produce low-grade recycled sand concrete, recycled mortar, recycled bricks, blocks and other building materials.
